Unlike many traditional extension techniques that were originally developed for thicker hair types, Couturë Bonds® focuses on lightweight bonds, precise placement and customised hair blending to ensure results remain natural, safe, discreet and comfortable to wear.

The method allows extensions to be placed closer to the hairline, the fringe, blended seamlessly with the client’s natural hair, and styled freely without visible attachments.

For many clients who were previously told that extensions were not suitable for them, Couturë Bonds® offers a solution that feels both natural and effortless.

How Couturë Bonds® Was Created

​

Couturë Bonds® was developed by Anna Keczer, hair extension specialist and educator.

Anna began specialising in hair extensions in 2009, working with many clients who had naturally thin or fine hair.

The idea for the method actually began with a friend.

She had always struggled with thin hair and wanted extensions to create volume, but the methods available at the time simply weren’t suitable. They were often designed for thicker hair types, making them difficult to conceal and uncomfortable to wear on finer hair.

Wanting to help her, Anna began experimenting with different techniques , focusing on creating smaller, lighter bonds and more precise placement that would sit naturally within thinner hair structures.

 

What started as a solution for one person gradually became a method refined over many years of working with clients who faced the same challenge.

Instead of relying only on pre-bonded extensions, Anna began working with custom-blended loose hair, allowing colours to be tailored to each client’s natural hair.

Over time, this approach evolved into a fully developed system that allowed stylists to create discreet, natural-looking extensions specifically for thin and fine hair.

That system eventually became Couturë Bonds®.
